Welcome!

Christopher Wojahn is a professional freelance violinist and private teacher based in the Central Florida area. A graduate of the University of Central Florida (2014), Mr. Wojahn holds his Bachelor of Music Degree in Violin Performance where he studied violin with Dr. Ayako Yonetani. He has performed with the University of Central Florida Symphony Orchestra (UCFSO) for 11 consecutive years, refining his orchestral skills playing both roles as first violinist and second violin. It was with the UCFSO as an alumnus (2014-2023), under the direction (formerly) of Dr. Chung Park, whom Mr. Wojahn received further violin instruction and mentorship from while starting up his own private teaching studio.

Brought up on the Suzuki Violin Method, and through the Brevard County Public School’s Elementary Strings Program, it was the result of hard work, dedication, and a burning passion for Classical Music, that someone like Mr. Wojahn could become, a professional violinist! “I firmly believe that music and yes, classical music is for everyone and has the power to change lives! No matter what your age or background is, everyone can learn to play the violin and I can teach you!” In addition to teaching and performing, Chris also has interests in orchestral conducting, music composition, and music history and enjoys a broad range of eras spanning from the Baroque & 18th century performance practice to the Romantic and Post-Romantic music of the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries.
